Service Description
HIFU - High Intensity Focused Ultrasound. In one facial treatment, the highly focused ultrasound energy creates thermal coagulation at 3 different depths to select the SMAS muscle layer, dermis and epidermis - following which a wound healing response results in the formation of new collagen thus providing a longer term tightening of the skin. Generally a noticeable improvement in facial contouring and fine lines and wrinkles will be visible within a 4 week period whilst further improvement in facial skin tightening and wrinkles will be seen within 6-12 weeks. There is no down time associated with this non-invasive procedure, although some minor discomfort may be felt, however settings can be tweaked to reduce this to an absolute minimum. This will be discussed in depth at your consultation and a HIFU patch test will be carried out. Treatment time is 1.5 hours. The HIFU Non-Surgical Facelift can be combined with Radio Frequency Skin Tightening and also combined with LED Face Mask and/or The Ultimate Facial for monthly maintenance and the ultimate in skin rejuvenation.
